On the 11th of April en the 19th of May we held two speakerspitches just for students. We wanted to give the students an exclusive chance to pitch their ideas in a small and trusting setting. We got a wonderful response from one of the pitchers en he gave us permission to share his experience with you.

"This email to thank for the experience of the pitch of last week at Fontys. Thanks to this I realized some things that able me now to build a plan for my future that really suits me. Studying has never challenged me and my creativity has always dropped when I was at University. Before starting in Venlo in Februari, I dropped out from a University in Brussels and I spent one and a half year looking for what I had really inside me. I found what I wanted for my future but I had no idea how to do it. This is why I started studying again, here in Venlo. But thanks to your pitches a business idea I found one year ago came back in my mind. This is why I did this pitch: I wanted to know if my problem statement was raising interest. I think that it has potential. This is why I'm going to pass my exams of June to prove my parents I can succeed something I don't like. July will be then the start of building my own education through experiencing. I will start to challenge my idea and if I find the right solution for the problem: I will launch something and if not; I will build my own curriculum to obtain the tools necessary to put my creativity at the highest level. I don't want to be passive and to speak about theories that we do not apply. I want just want to do, to experience. If it is a risk, I have to take now. I took me two years to take this decision but today I'm confident."
