Maarten Loonen gave a talk at TEDx to inform us all of the various climate changes in the arctic region. Change is happening rapidly, and part of the cause lies with us. The arctic region may seem far away, so it doesn’t feel that urgent, but that’s exactly why an education on the matter is necessary.

This year, Maarten took a party of 140 people (including 55 scientists) to visit the North Pole, and show them in person how our environment is changing. Take a look back at his presentation, and educate yourself on the many fascinating and sometimes alarming changes. After all, we’re all on this Earth together, so we need to work together to keep it healthy!
