TEDxVenlo is affiliated with TED, a is a nonprofit organization devoted to ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’. TED organises conferences worldwide where speakers host short so-called ‘TED Talks’ that specialise on a broad range of subjects, such as technology, education and design.

Speakers TEDxVenlo 2018
Speakers for TEDxVenlo were selected over the past few months through so-called pitch nights that were at the Venlo stadskantoor and Universiteit Maastricht Campus Venlo. Speaker for TEDxVenlo 2018 will be announced over the coming months.

Coaches TEDxVenlo 2018
All speakers will be guided throughout the process by a team of coaches, one of whom is Loes Keijsers. Keijsers was recently awarded the Best Teacher Award for her job at Universiteit van Nederland. The coaches accompany the speakers on the road to the TEDxVenlo event by coaching sessions so that the speakers are well prepared when they enter the stage.

TEDxVenlo will return to theater De Maaspoort, where we will welcome750 guests. People wishing to attend the event can sign up for TEDxVenlo 2018 later this year. Attendance is free although have to write a motivation for attendance.
